What does NDIS-registered mean?

The Movement Clinic Sydney is an NDIS registered physiotherapy clinic, which means that we are a service provider and have met the strict quality and safety guidelines of the Australian Government. It means that we can deliver Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology services to ALL people with NDIS funding in the following ways:

  • NDIA-managed: also known as agency managed.
  • Plan-managed: where a Plan-Manager takes care of your funding.
  • Self-Managed: where you or your family manage your funding.

Services we provide:

We have a broad range of services that are covered under the NDIS, which will help people with a disability achieve their goals. All the services we provide are performed at our clinic inside the Fitness First gym in Castle Towers and all our patients have full access to the gym for their treatment sessions!

  • Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
  • Paediatric Physiotherapy for early teens and teenagers.
  • Paediatric Exercise Physiology for early teens and teenagers.
  • Gym-based Injury Rehabilitation services
  • Clinical Pilates
  • Hydrotherapy
  • Post-Operative Rehabilitation (Physio and Exercise Physiology
  • Dry Needling

Fees/ Rates

The cost of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology treatment sessions are standardised across Australia and is set by the NDIA. We are not allowed to charge any more than those gazetted fees, nor will we ever charge more. We will send you, your Plan Manager or your agency an invoice or you can pay us straight away and the money will be deducted from your available funding. We will try to create a rehab plan that is as consistent as possible, for the goals you want to achieve, for the funds available!

Do I need a Service Agreement?

A Service Agreement is a written agreement between you and physiotherapist which is created at the time of your initial appointment and it will cover a list of all the supports you need to achieve your goals. The Service Agreement will also describe in detail on HOW we plan to achieve these goals. We work out the frequency, which therapists you need to see and discuss costs involved, before we start.

When both parties are happy with the Service Agreement Plan you and your Physiotherapist/ Exercise Physiologist will sign the document and a copy will be sent to your agency/plan manager (if you are using one) and you will be given a copy to keep.

Don’t worry, we will help you create your Service Agreement!

How do I make an appointment?

If you have an NDIS plan, you can call the clinic on 02 9680 2422 or,

book online:  https://auappts.gensolve.com/tmcs

or visit:           www.themovementclinicsydney.com.au

If you’re not sure, just give us a ring and we’ll book you in with the therapist that’s most suitable for you. Your Physiotherapist or EP will take a detailed history and perform a thorough assessment of you. It is best to bring along your NDIS plan to help with your treatment planning and goal setting. What follows is that a treatment plan (also known as your Service Agreement) will be discussed and set out in print. As soon as you both have agreed to the treatment plan and have both signed the Service Agreement, will the journey start.
