Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Mark was part of the Australian Army, where for 7 years he served both in Australia and overseas. Mark has trained, led and mentored soldiers here in Australia and overseas, and has provided aid to individuals and whole communities in many capacities. Mark’s general love for sport and exercise inspired him to pursue musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation, to help individuals from a different perspective. Mark has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport and Exercise Science) degree, as well as a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Port Macquarie.
Mark is passionate about working with people through a patient centred approach, that is heavily targeted towards the patient’s goals. Mark has a variety of clinical skills working with people pre- and post operative surgeries, persistent neck and back pain, knee and ankle pain, and hand based injuries. In addition, Mark has gained valuable skills assessing and treating fracture, tendon and ligaments injuries. Mark has developed a passion for assessing and treating the upper limb and has developed skills splinting and casting fingers, wrists and forearms.
Outside the clinic, Mark absolutely loves Olympic weightlifting and all things soccer. He is obsessed with travelling, coffee and his little cavoodle named “Chewie”.
What drives Mark is helping people in any way he can. He is passionate about working with people of all ages, sharing knowledge and empowering people to achieve their goals.
