Duncan Lai

Duncan is a caring and dedicated physiotherapist who provides evidence-based, goal-oriented care focused on reducing pain, restoring function, and helping people return to the activities that matter most to them. He takes the time to understand the factors contributing to each patientโ€™s injury or symptoms and develops personalised treatment plans combining hands-on therapy, exercise, and education.

He has a strong clinical interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, chronic pain management, work-related injury rehabilitation, and sports performance. Duncan particularly enjoys treating back and knee pain, as well as shoulder and ankle injuries, with a focus on improving mobility, strength, and overall physical capacity.

Duncan believes rehabilitation should go beyond symptom management. Through individualised exercise programs and manual therapy, he aims to build confidence and independence while improving the physical capacity required for everyday activities, work, and sport.

Committed to ongoing professional and clinical development, Duncan stays up to date with current evidence and best practices in physiotherapy. He believes patients should play an active role in their recovery and uses education, encouragement, and practical strategies to support long-term outcomes.

Outside of the clinic, Duncan is a keen soccer player and understands firsthand the importance of strength, speed, power, and effective recovery. His own sporting experience reinforces his passion for helping people stay active, perform at their best, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
