Bhooshan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) who is passionate about using exercise to help people move better, become stronger, improve their health, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He believes exercise should be individualised, purposeful, and built around each person’s goals.
He has a strong interest in injury rehabilitation, return to work and sport, chronic condition management, and strength and conditioning. Bhooshan takes a progress-focused approach, helping people gradually build their physical capacity, confidence, and independence through evidence-based exercise.
Central to Bhooshan’s approach is the belief that exercise should help people build capacity, not simply manage limitations. Whether someone wants to return to work, get back into the gym, maintain their independence, manage a chronic condition, or improve sporting performance, he develops practical and personalised programs that work towards meaningful, long-term outcomes.
Bhooshan’s own experience across different sports has shaped his understanding of exercise and rehabilitation. He appreciates the consistency, patience, setbacks, and small wins involved in working towards long-term goals and uses this perspective to support and motivate his clients throughout their journey.
Outside of the clinic, Olympic Weightlifting is a major part of Bhooshan’s life. He enjoys the combination of strength, power, technical skill, and discipline involved in the sport, with a personal goal of becoming a multi-time National Champion. He also enjoys expanding his knowledge of exercise science and human performance and finding effective ways to communicate evidence-based health and exercise information.
